WHAT IS PARENT COACHING?

The truth is GREAT PARENTS ARE NOT BORN, WE ARE MADE WITH EXPERIENCE!

In our increasingly complex society, with the big impact of media and the high stress of today’s world, we as parents have more challenges than ever before!

Parent Coaching is an empowering, co-creative and non-judgmental setting for parents, who would like to engage in a mindful, connected and happier family life.

A parent coach is a supportive companion who keeps up with the latest research out there and translates that into information you can trust along with practical tools that hopefully make a difference – for yourself, your children, and your family!

The power of the coaching process lies in a co-constructive partnership where the client knows their situation and child best and a coach brings an outside perspective along with guidance, relatedness, research and expertise to make the best of what is.

HOW COACHING WITH SYLVIE CAN HELP

My focus lies on the parent-child-relationship and their communication.

My mission is to help parents find comfort and trust in their relationship with their children, where connection can come before correction and where a mutual understanding and respect between parent and child is more important to the parent, than being in control!

The connected approach gives parents the tools to move beyond their initial unproductive reaction, towards a response that is connecting and empowering to the child and themselves.

As a conclusion, we come to understand why certain tools or approaches work better for your family dynamic than others, which leaves the parent more confident and better equipped to meet their children’s optimal cognitive, emotional and social needs.

At the same time you will know better, how to impact external pressures (such as the impact of media and the high stress of today’s world) that directly affect your parental decisions and your home environment.
